With the Safely app, users can enhance their personal safety when engaging in activities such as jogging in the morning, walking home from public transport, or waiting for late-night rideshares. The app provides several functionalities designed to offer peace of mind in potentially threatening situations.

Key Features of Safely:

 <li>High Alert Mode: Users can activate a high alert status by pressing and holding the Safely button. Releasing the button activates a loud alarm, providing an immediate alert in case of danger.</li>
 <li>Countdown Timer: If you anticipate a safe arrival within a specific timeframe, set a countdown. If not disarmed before the timer expires, an alert will be triggered.</li>
 <li>Discrete Activation: Removal of corded headphones, disconnection of Bluetooth devices, or shaking the phone allows users to discreetly trigger an alarm in unexpected confrontations.</li>

Upon activation, Safely not only emits sirens and flashes lights from the device but also sends an SOS notification to designated Guardians—trusted individuals such as family members or friends. This notification includes a unique link that provides real-time GPS location, video and audio livestream, along with battery status to facilitate prompt emergency assistance.
